Faces of Valor

Koons Ford Lincoln of Annapolis is proud to be able to once again support the extraordinary efforts of Faces of Valor.

Faces of Valor USA comes from the patriotism that beats in the heart of all Americans but especially that of Ted & Beth Levitt, owners of Chick and Ruth’s Delly in Annapolis, Maryland.

The Sixth Annual Family Fundraiser will be held June 28th includes 4 Events in 1 Day! Motorcycle Ride, Classic Car Show, 5K Fun Run/Walk, and Family Picnic.

This year’s Special Honoree – Lance Corporal Mark Fidler.

Mark joined the Marines on his 18th Birthday and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. One month later he stepped on an IED and immediately lost both legs to the knees. The blast set off 3 grenades on his belt, severely damaging his lower back, buttocks, and upper legs.

To rebuild his back, doctors had to remove both of his legs at the hip. He’s still at Walter Reed Bethesda Naval Hospital for rehab and further surgeries.

Very optimistic, Marks looks forward to life after rehab. He wants to buy a small farm in Berks County, PA and work on classic cars.
